NEW YORK — A song criticizing Chris Brown is getting air play.

The song is called "My Flow So Tight" by a little-known dance group called Smoke Jumpers. It features the repeated line: "Chris Brown should get his ass kicked."

A Web site for the group hyped the song as "the official Chris Brown dis record." Radio stations in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles and New York have recently begun playing it.

C.W. Griz, a member of the group who declined to give his real name since he expected Brown to be angered by the song, said Friday that he didn't think enough people in the music industry had spoken out against the singer.

The 19-year-old Brown allegedly beat his girlfriend, singer Rihanna, on the night of the Grammy Awards in February. Brown is scheduled for arraignment on felony assault and criminal threat charges on Monday.

"I was really upset with the way a lot of celebrities and people were handling the situation," said C. W. Griz. "Not enough people were speaking out against Chris Brown. What he did was a thousand percent wrong."

He pledged the group would donate a portion of the proceeds from the song to organizations benefiting battered women, but declined to say how much or specify a charity.

"We're not trying to take advantage of a horrible situation," said C.W. Griz. "We want to take a positive stance."

A publicist for Brown didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Friday.

A lot of and I can tell white people are on here commenting about this young black couple and never even heard their music or no anything about them. He goes to court tomorrow to tell his side of the story. There are two sides to every story at least wait until he goes to court. If you don't know nothing about them shut your trap... Whay are you teaching your children to commit suiside if they make a mistake. Geeeeezzzz

Why are they white?(and what does that have to do with this? Do you think white people are the only ones that care about Domestic Violence? It effects every race.)

Beating a person(partner) half your size up is not a "mistake". Mistakes are not repeated punches to a girls face and choking her. People will continue to comment about this and not knowing their music has nothing to do with it. So you are saying that only their fans should care about one beating the hell out of the other? Maybe you should follow your own advice.

24kgold, I think I may agree with you. There seems to be more hype and exaggeration, "like she was almost beat to death".

I keep hearing "reports" that he had been abusive towards her in the past.
But if you fear this person who has been "abusing" you, wouldn't you be too fearful of him to strike first? She hit him over a text at that, not because he hit her! Sorry, but those are not the action of a person being abused.

You posted a comment about her past history of violence, this is true; not because some "unknown source" has stated this but because it came from her mouth. I'm sure you heard her remarks about busting her brother in the face with a glass bottle!
Maybe Rosanne Barr was correct.

You post exposes your lack of knowledge about the cycle of violence and the psychology of domestic abuse.

So you are saying she was not abused? You don't think someone been abused before after they throw something or slap someone? You are clueless.

how old is he? laughing and having a good time riding the jet skies in FL right afterward was not good. I just think he's OK with hitting women 9heck be*ting them up). Its getting caught that's the problem.

Chris didn't get it at first, but Rhinna did, her career started going in a nose dive, thats when she decided to cut him loose. If he wants to keep his career he will do as much positive publicity as he can. Hitting both of them in the cash pocket is what got BOTH there attentions.

To actually address the topic, it's really nice to see that Americans endorse hypocrisy.

Since they're a "little-known dance group", I am sure they are using all the publicity they can to get their name out. But at the same time, it's good publicity since this can reach to a younger audience about the effects of teen violence. I'm sure it'll work both ways.

I would like to hope so but considering they are promoting violence as well, I just don't see the point in it. How can you speak against violence while advocating for more , you can't have it both ways. I listened to the song and after the chorus I hear "career suicide like a noose around your neck", something to that affect. It just didn't sit well with me.

After the alleged "incident", Chris was seen on his jet ski...posing and flexing
his muscles.
Like an oblivious, unfeeling @s$-whole.
Chris doesn't get it.
He's probably dancing to this song right now.

How do you know what he's doing? You don't know Rihanna or Chris.

"Chris was seen on his jet ski...posing and flexing his muscles"

You are commenting like you know the young man personally, get a life because it's obvious that you don't have one.

Good for them. I'm not into rap that much but I will support this song if some proceeds go to battered women's charities.

I think Chris should get out of the music business. What he did is not going to ever go away. I think it will follow him for a very long time. There are alot of careers he could go into and become anonymous (how about the computer field??)

Beating a woman's face in is not a "mistake".

Most people never beat their partners face in. You seem to have no rational prospective into what this man did.

Rhianna is also an abuser. I think they deserve each other. They both need to learn what Aretha Franklin called RESPECT.

Scuse me. Verbal abuse is not going to put a guy twice her size in the hospital.

You know what "blame the victim" is about? It's pretending that it's the woman's fault to make the accuser feel safe.

It's delusional.

Great point.
Michelle Obama talked to a bunch of girls in London, just a day or 2 ago
about the importance of "respecting yourself and having RESPECTFUL
RELATIONSHIPS".
It goes hand in hand.

Absolutely. One is just so tired hearing about this hideously dysfunctional and vulgar couple. They both deserve obscurity.

I assume you have pictures of this so-called abuse against Chris Brown? I should probably assume that you think that her reported immature behavior is akin to abusive behavior in the same league as his. I know these thoughts may help you sleep at night but if you are a woman (as your name suggests) than you are aiding abusers around the world in justifying horrific, sick behavior. Respect has nothing to do with this.....you are trying to simplify his behavior into a bad choice instead of what it is....a sickness. He needs rage counseling....he needs to pay for his crime dearly with no one and I mean NO ONE cleaning up his mess for him.

Just because there were no pictures leaked about Chris Brown doesn't mean there aren't any. No one is making excuses for him I'm just tired of hearing the over zealous sensationalism of it all ,it's sad. He is not the poster boy for domestic violence. Believe me this has been happening way before him.

People want to crucify this kid. Josh Brolin went to counseling after "beating the crap" out of Diane Lane and you know he is "all better now". Sean Penn, Tommy Lee, James Brown, Myles Davis, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Scotty Pippen, Don Cornelius, BeBe Winans the list goes on... but this 19 year old kid should be buried under the jail never to see the light of day! I'm sorry I just don't see it...

I never heard of Rihanna until Chris Brown -- allegedly -- beat her to a pulp. I am wondering how this event impacts her career. When I ask the kids about her, they say that she's not talented. When I ask them about Chris Brown, they say the same thing.
