Hannity Panel Talks Porn, Which Hannity Claims Never To Have Seen

One of our Media Monitors, Maurice, thought you'd enjoy this edition of the Hannity Show's "Great American Panel," and their discussion of pornography. It is pretty great! It features Sean Hannity, a chirpy Brit who loves pornography, an African-American dude who hates it and thinks it's a tool for making people liberal (if this were true we'd be a nation of Alexander Cockburns by now!), and a brown haired woman, who bravely stakes out the middle ground on this issue, I guess. No, I have no idea who any of these people are, so sue me.

Hannity claims to have never watched pornography, which causes the chirpy Brit to mock him at length, "Not even in college?...I don't believe you!" Seriously, chirpy Brit, I am with you. Hasn't Hannity watched his own network? Or visited a brothel?

I'm actually a little more disturbed by the fact that Hannity doesn't seem to want to answer the question about his virginity directly. "I have two children," is a classic non-denial denial.

Keep in mind that the fanbase of Hannity may reside in "red states" in which there is a higher purchase of porn!! LOL

I saw this clip on when it aired and thought it was hilarious to the hill!!! LOL

He is the epitome of total rethugican hypocrisy to the fullest. I can only imagine that his pathetic wife may be suffering as a result of that and the kids too with lack of sex education due to their self righteous Catholic, pro life upbringing!! LOL

Leaving aside all my doubts about whether or not Hannity is telling the truth, if Hannity is, indeed, telling the truth about never having watched porn, why in the world would he participate in a panel discussing something that he knows absolutely nothing about? Or does he just do that as a matter of routine?

As for those doubts of mine, I figure a person would either have to be so deeply entrenched in some kind of religious dogma that they're afraid they'd burn in hell just for looking or functionally brain-dead in order to be so incurious about one of the most provocative issues in the entire world that they've never even checked out what all the fuss is about.

If what he says is true, I really feel sorry for the guy. It would explain a lot about him, his politics, his whole point of view.

How many teenage boys didn't get together and "view" a naughty picture after school? Apparently Shawn didn't. How many high school athletes don't talk about it in the locker room and each claim to have seen "Cindy Lou" (the cheerleader) wearing nothing "that time." Apparently Shawn didn't.

Shawn was way out there all by his lonesome - and he still is.

Why does the media and the Republicans pander to the fundamentalist minority?

Fundamentalists will all say they don't watch porn either, but they tend to molest their children, commit adultery, have homosexual liaisons in public restrooms and beat their children more then the rest of us "godless heathens"

I'd rather smoke a joint and watch a porno then hang out with any Fundamentalists

This is like people who claim to have never masturbated. They are either lying, or there is something seriously wrong with them. I would not be proud to make either proclamation. It would simply show that one is either seriously dysfunctional, or absolutely clueless, or both.
