Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco will either step aside or face a vote of no confidence next week as he awaits the outcome of his deadlocked House race, Assembly sources say.
An unhappy Republican conference is set to take action next week if Tedisco refuses to quit his Assembly leadership post, according to several insurgents who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Tedisco is up by 97 votes. Non-US absentees will be opened next week. US absentees will be opened Weds. For some reason Tedisco did not want them opened until the overseas absentees were opened.
I know this is a non-substantive comment BUT the guy just looks like the type of person who after shaking his hand you would do two things: make sure you still had your wallet and then go shower.
The republicans keep turn on their own. They are eating each other up. I just love it. Would love to see when they turn on Eric Cantor.
Looks good for Tedisco. 3000 republican absentees, 2200 democratic, 940 un-affiliated.
Obama picked off republicans, but I wouldn't expect to see much of that at the state-level. Murphy has to get all the democrats and nearly all the independents. Tall order.

Murphy has a lead, but Tedisco expects to overtake him when the Saratoga re-reports. It will be a while before the absentees are counted - a couple of weeks. What will be interesting about them is whether they show a new trend. Obama really spiked early voting, but historically absentees and military votes had gone to republicans.

Military votes have gone Dem the last election.
Wrong, they went -more- Dem than before, but are still overwhelmingly Republican.
I don't know how much of the absentees are comprised of military. I'd heard about a 5th.
