Diana Palin, Sarah Palin's Sister-In-Law, Arrested For Breaking Into Home

UPDATE 4/13: Diana Palin, half-sister of Todd Palin, pleaded not guilty to burglary charges at the criminal superior courthouse in Palmer, Alaska Monday, People reports:

Diana, 35, is facing four felony counts of burglary and theft and four misdemeanor counts of criminal trespassing and theft stemming from two alleged break-ins at the same property on March 31 and April 2.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Police say Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's sister-in-law is accused of breaking into the same home twice to steal money.

Deputy Wasilla Police Chief Greg Wood says 35-year-old Diana Palin was arrested Thursday after she was confronted by the homeowner in the governor's hometown of Wasilla. She faces two counts of felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and theft.

Wood says tire tracks and shoe prints tied Palin to another break-in Tuesday in which $400 was taken. Police have not tied Palin to another burglary at the home last week.

Governor spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton says Palin is the half sister of the governor's husband and the family has no comment.

Diana Palin's husband says his wife has a court-appointed attorney.

What is really sad is that Diana's young daughter was in the car waiting for her mother to come out of the house. When the cops showed up, the daughter told them that they were there before. It's just a shame that this child doesn't have better role models in her young life. Instead, she has thieves, liars, egotistical bullies.

As a Kentuckian I am vastly grateful to the Palins for making Alaska look even more backwards and trashy than us. It has been a real ego-booster for a lot of the people in the hills here, realizing they may no longer have to be the butt of all those jokes. Thanks, Sarah!

I have only one thing to say - John McCain is a user and loser. He thought she (Sarah) was qualified to be his Vice President, but when interviewed and asked if he would support her run for President, he would not state that he would support her
as President. Yet he knew that if anything happened to him she would be President. So I am still trying to figure out this one irony. I might have a comment on Todd's half sister once I figure this one out. It would be nice if SNL could do a skit on Sarah and her Sister-in-Law. I do miss those SNL Palin skits and if they used the real sister-in-law (and not an actor) it would give the sister-in-law FTE and she would not have to steal.
