Rudy Giuliani's once-thriving consulting firm is on the ropes, heavily pared down after his aborted presidential run last year, several sources told The Post.
The firm's client list has thinned out in the past few years, as have partner salaries, the sources said. Some partners have left, and some support staffers let go.

Every body loves a winner and Mr Giuliani's belief that the one event that he was know for would carry him to the height of fame that legends are made of. The problems is that the substance of hero transcends a single event. Under the guise of a security expert, he believe that this one area of expertise was the single focus of the American people. He found that the world stage is much more sophisticated then he imagine. The pressing issue is the economy and will always be the one area that dictates greater expertise then he possess. Also maybe there was a question about his honesty and how he conducted himself in personal affairs. The religious right demand there view of morality is exemplify in the political candidates that they support. Maybe some or most of clients believe that his position after the 911 inseadent
Excuse me I hit the wrong key.
Maybe some or most of his clients believe that his position after the 911 incident gave him inside access to people high up in the government. Which would allow them to have inside information and influences in decision that could effect their countries security. Oblivious this was not the case and as he express his vision of the future as the American leader people began to see the true person behind all the Hype. Everybody loves a winner but maybe that was not the perception once his politics became known.
