Worst. Tagline. Ever. (PIC)

Um, so yeah, I always think of copywriters in the ad world as English majors who chose to make money--talented people with some wit and the ability to be concise yet tantalizing. I was wrong.

The movie "Crank: High Voltage" (which is a sequel to a film I didn't know existed) uses the tagline "He was dead...But he got better" in its ads, which, if successful could be used for the New Testament, Harry Potter, and this season of "Lost."

Luckily, in the instance below, an incredibly helpful graffitist wrote "worst tagline ever" around the offending area so that others would be aware of the level of history they were experiencing as they passed by. Now if we could just hire that man or woman to do it to all the other billboards, posters and televisions that will say "He was dead...But he got better" at some point, we'd be all set.
