Those pictures look like Homer and Bart in the same way a police sketch artist's drawing looks like the bad guy. There's a vague resemblance. Are they using old drawings, in the spirit of the Thin Elvis stamp?
They should have one with just Marge's blue hair sticking up into the frame.
dang they should add grampa and barney to the list.
yay!!!!! I know what my stamp of choice will be.
Licking Homer...he tastes like Doughnuts.

These renderings of the Simpsons are horrible. They look terribly off-model. It's like they hired some artist to do a "hip" interpretation of the characters.
According to the story, the great Matt Groening himself did the drawings for the stamps.
Well, unfortunately, Matt can't draw his own characters anymore. I guess he forgot that he specified many years ago that Bart is supposed to have nine hair spikes, not seven.
How much did the USPS pay to FOX for use of the copyrighted material? Given "The Simpsons" is a big name brand product right now, I'd expect lots of money...
I think they pay royalties for what they sell - but probably did pay some fee to get the rights - also Postagesta
The way the price of a stamp keeps changing so often makes these useful only for collectors. But it's pretty cool anyway.
