Dutch TV Show Finds Osama Bin Laden 'Not Guilty'

A Dutch TV jury has found Osama bin Laden not guilty of the Sept. 11 attacks.

In the conclusion Wednesday night to the show "Devil's Advocate" on Dutch public broadcaster Nederland 2, the jury of two men and three women, along with the studio audience, ruled there was no proof bin Laden was the mastermind behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001.

I love a conspiracy as much as the next guy and I've seen the documentary of the WTC. But this is starting to sound like the Pearl Harbor conspiracy, and the who really kil.l.ed JFK conspiracy.

Every generation has to have a conspiracy it seems.

the back of Kennedy's head was blown out and he had a small hole in front. No bullet ever made makes a small exit wound and huge entry wound with blown out debris going TOWARDS the shooter. It completely defies all known ballistics and physics. Its even recorded on film (Zapruder film)yet any conspiracy is skoffed at. FNO's point is an excellent one. You cannot dismiss the hundreds of questions, large and small, which are not even touched on by the official report on 9/11, by comparing them to the alternate theories of the Kennedy assassination. Your supposition is that Oswald killed Kennedy, that every reasonable person knows this, and that someone, perhaps Posner or Bugliosi, has in fact proven such. All false. It would drag us far off topic to fully discuss that case, but use of the term "shooters on the grassy knoll" to disparage anyone not swallowing the official version of anything, will no longer wash. It is the stark truth; Dave Powers, in the car behind JFK saw it and finally said so in the early 90s. On this thread the dismissive cliches of "tin foil hats" and "black helicopters" are similarly bandied about. If you want to sleep through the major political events of your life, go ahead; none can stop nor help you. But don't cast aspersions on those who are doing the work of ferreting out what we are not meant to know, without doing a scintilla of research yourself. Your loyalty to those who have lied to you, and to their purposes, which these events advance, is discouraging. It's probably the reasons why the cover-ups have become so shoddy: when the people are so eager to stick their heads in the sand, it's all that is necessary.

I never thought Osama bin Laden was the mastermind­..... of 9/11.. I can't see him digging in the details of the pla of that scope.... I believe Zawahiri was much more hands on and they both gave their approval for the operation to proceed.

There is much stronger evidence that the military leader of the Northern Alliance (opposed to the Taliban) orchistrated the 911 event with help from the outside. Conveniently, he supposidly got blown up the night before 911, thus taking the focus away from him even though he was the big benefactor (Such violent subterfuge was also his calling card). Right before 911 he was calling for Western Intervention in Afghanistan. At the time he lost Talocan and was down to less than 5% of the country. His WEB site suddenly became alarmist warning about the Taliban atacking the West and therefor the West needed to come to his aid. The WEB site had also suddenly become a slick presentation designed to appeal to a Western audiance (that is why it was obvious he had Western support). The only contradiction in the theory is the Saudis were backing Osama in Afghanistan and the 911 terrorists were mainly Saudi. But this contradiction can also be expalined away with the consistent theory that he had outside help.

The sudden change in the Northern Alliance WEB site was striking in how they obviously got western help that warned an attack was coming.

One can't help but wonder what would make so many minor intellects cling so purposely to an almost totally discredited conspiracy theory as the official government explanation of the events of 9/11. I suppose, were they to acknowledge how little they know about the truth of an event upon which so many subsequent events are almost solely dependent, their current tenuous grasp on the reality of what is going on in the world would be seen as just that. Perhaps when the Bush/Cheney dead-ender apologists and revisionists have died off, we'll have a shot at the truth.

It has not Been debunked at all. Read "Debunking 911 debunker" Remember the patriot act, iraq war, and the afghan war were both results of the unclear, unusual 911 attacks. Were it took NORAD 80 minutes to respond in stead of the usual 16 minutes. btw Dick Cheney was running NORAD commands on 9/11. but its just a silly conspiracy theory And people in small caves half way around the world did it.

I thought it was common knowledge that a majority of Europeans believe that 9/11 was "an inside job".

It is hard to believe that a group of mostly Saudi extremists foiled US and world intelligence agencies and NORAD and all of the US armed services. It makes less sense that a building (7 world trade) not directly involved in the attacks simply collapsed while a building (140 west street) directly across the street from 1 world trade sustained more damage and remained standing.

It is hard to believe that the president of the US was left to sit in a Florida school while we were being attacked since no one knew who, what, where, why or when.

It is hard to understand why Bush and Cheney refused to testify under oath (a promise to tell the truth) and why they insisted on being together when answering questions.

It is hard to understand why insider trading on American Airlines 9/10 has not been investigated.

It is hard to understand why there are cover ups around this event.

What I didn't get was the "fact" they found passports of the terrorists in the rubble and the passports almost looked like new. And I did not understand why every bit of information in the aftemath of 9/11 was held back by the Bush admin or was highly classified. For a dictatorship it would be ok, but for a democracy not good enough. Maybe journalists were told not to dig deeper or maybe they did not even try as they may have feared for their jobs. We know in Europe the Bush admin would spy on campuses on people not having the "right" mindset.
