Wow, relying on anime to save their economy, just wow.

I will tell you a secret. Japan is known for their toys. Namely Godzilla and his friends. They are revolting against Chinese mass manufactured toys so they are making their own Vinyl toys which are super expensive, super cool, and super exclusive.

here is the premier custom toy manufacturer in the world. You can thank me later for instructing you in the art of cool.

This is just to distract you from their thriving robotics development which will replace every labor job known to man. Business is War. Bonzai! Did anyone watch Sarah Connor last night?

Ever notice that comics, games or cartoons out of Japan have very white characters with large, American eyes and not ethnic ones? What kind of message are they sending? I just saw where bleaching cream is in demand over there.

In the OR we had so many Asian wives getting surgery to make their eyes larger. SMH...talk about physical insecurity. Everybody must look alike?

they do look similar to each other so they try to innovate to look different with wacky clothes and hair styles. Some Japanese women have a more rounded eye and they are beautiful. Alas, McDonald's and the Westernization of their culture is having health impacts such as skin problems from eating American poison. Bonzai!!

Ah yes, I've enjoyed several manga myself (Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin are superb). I think it'll be a success.

I think its a great idea also. I'm into Detective Conan and Naruto. Naruto is getting really good. Thank god for the internet. When I was younger it would take months to wait for them to reach a comic book store here in the US.

I love Samurai Champloo :) I think this idea is interesting. Otaku culture is main-stream now, in Japan and growing more so all over the world. Saying it could save the economy might sound a little silly now, but if it continues to grow in popularity, then 10 years from now people will be wishing they had gotten in on it.

They need to subsidize the Bleach manga and TV series on the condition that they quit it with the damn filler episodes and arcs.

Never gonna happen pal. Better off watching stuff like Gurrenn Lagann (japanese dub preferred) and Michiko to Hatchin or Afro Samurai if you're looking for your action quota.

Also: Samurai Champloo (eng. dub preferred) has wicked awesome sword fight scenes.
