South Africa's silence on these issues is deafening and disgusting. The ANC seems happy to enable Mugabe and pals as they terrorize their country with impunity. Desmond Tutu is a notable exception of course. The legacy of tolerating dictators, especially if it can pose as some pseudo alternative to Western imperialism, has murdered and tortured and jailed countless African victims. Western imperialism has blood on its hands, but these gangs of thugs offer no way out.

Apologies from the world to all of the former white rulers of the country once known as Rhodesia and now known as Zimbabwe. You were absolutely correct when you warned that Robert Mugabe was a thug and a dictator pretending to be a patriot for equality. He indeed sees black majority rule as only a cover for enriching his own clique and family. You were right on every single statement about what he would do to the country right down to the last wave of brutality, falling standard of living and epidemic of disease.

You were also racist bigots who deserved to be thrown out of power but that does not change the fact you were right and the world should say so.

what a sadly misguided article

here is robert mugabe protecting his country from terrorists and other undesirables and employing methods which were found by former us president pan's department of "justice" to be in conformity with the us constitution

a shining gulag on a hill to inspire the rest of the world

what is he protecting his country from? an ability to grow its own food? the ability to have 2,000 lobsters, amongst many other luxuries, while famine and disease racks his nation? his lack of ability to lead a country? typical african murder that sets a country back by decades?

look at the rest of the idiots that lead african countries and their lack of protest. africa is a basket case. what do you have maybe 3 leaders that aren't there for their own good?
