As someone who suffered personal loss in 2001, I find that statement repulsive. I'm sure most here in the New York area would agree with me.

The country is under seige by right wing extremist afraid of Obama-- no substance just fear which begets fear...guns sales off the charts, NSA still eavesdropping and intercepting communications.
Now an reenactment of the Boston Tea Party...people screaming about government spending out of control. Where were these nuts when Bush trashed the country, reduced tax for the well off? Hybernating, comatose? They woke up 8 years too late and are taking their frustration out on the wrong administration. The cost of the Iraq War along with the tax cuts to the wealthiest Americas-- robbed our children's piggy banks- talk about generational thief; it happened over the past 8 years and no one was protesting. Everyone know Bush's new address. If you are mad about government spending take your pitchforks to his neighborhood and leave mines alone. Bush set us on this path of hysteria.

Reporters need to ask these stu pid people tough questions just because youre an id iot doesnt mean you shouldnt be asked tough questions. Like how could creating jobs making college affordable to young people making healthcare affordable how the HELL could that be compared to 911 never mind it being worse. Ask the ID OTS the right question.

I love the sign: Revolution is Brewing.

One of the reporters said the most fun are the signs. Very true!

These people are more concerned and get more worked up about a "probable" deficit that our kids might be required to pay off than they were about a war that our kids are dying in. What is wrong with these people?

It was only a matter of time before they dragged out 9/11 and took it for a drive.

Today illustrates that an uneducated electrorate leads to a race to the bottom in any democracy.

The tea parties would have more credibility if the participants were not so ignorant about the merits of their cause. It would be like people protesting "illegal aliens" by holding up signs that read "Martians go home!".

One of the persistent themes being voiced at the tea parties is the notion of "taxation without representation", a concept borrowed from the original Boston Tea Party.

However, we just had an election during which every adult citizen had the opportunity to vote. So what these folks are really complaining about is that their candidate(s) LOST!

This does not invalidate the election, people. All it means is that you are SORE LOSERS. Suck it up and try again in 2010.

"Revolution is brewing" - good one! Much better than my "I'm a little taxpayer, short and stout" sign that I had prepared.
