Are you referring to the people who were voting for Obama during the election. That is mostly what I heard from them. "More tax cuts for the middle class and poor". "More wellfare". Funny. One group does it its ok if they are voting for who you want.

I think everyone one of you brainwashed liberals are missing the point. You are being blindsided and you don't even see what is happening around you. This is not about the taxation you see on your everyday paycheck.

First, the U.S. corporate tax is OUT RAGEOUS. 24 U.S. states have a combined corporate tax rate higher than top-ranked Japan. 32 states have a combined corporate tax rate higher than third-ranked Germany. 46 states have a combined corporate tax rate higher than fourth-ranked Canada.
All 50 states have a combined corporate tax rate higher than fifth-ranked France.

We are currently in an economy with many people suffering trying to find jobs. Sure a "tax-cut" is great for those of you lucky enough to have a job. But look at the BIG picture. First, many companies are going overseas and eating away our jobs because they can pay less taxes. So less jobs. Secondly, those companies that are here in the U.S. are paying higher taxes hence paying you less for the work you are doing.

YES! Most typical Americans (who are the ones protesting) are receiving about $40 extra per month (should they be lucky enough to have a job) from their paycheck. HOWEVER, what are they trading for this. Personally my company took away its 401k match and lowered health insurance benefits they also froze pay increases. Believe me I lost WAY more than $40 AND I am considered lower middle class.

There was just a live report from one "tea party". It would be completely laughable if these people weren't so serious. There was no central theme to what the interviewees said, except that they hate Pres. Obama. The GOP is quickening the pace of their fall into irrelevance.

I hate to say something so cruel in 2009 but is this really about taxes or are the "real" Americans afraid that this man of color just may do something to straighten out the economy? Is this a way to destroy any future opportunities for minorities to run for the highest office in the land? When I speak of minorities, I also include women. This is so very sad, most can't tell you why they are protesting. They have practiced scripts. They speak from a place of hate and not knowledge! This is nothing more than a ridiculous attempt at a modernized (?) hate rally!

It's just unbelievable! A groundswell! TEN'S of people are are miraculously just appearing out of seemingly thin air! A real cross section (clowns and nuts) of America. This country will never be the same again! It's a rebirth! An awakening! It's euphoric! A spontaneous "Woodstock" like atmosphere! Something to tell your grandchildren about! I guess paying students to attend would been hard since it's spring break and paying the homeless - way too risky. Seeing all those poorly dressed diverse people would have easily tipped us off.
