I don't object to ads. They're the price of doing business. Media outfits have to make money. Better they should get it from corporations than from me. But I despise ads that are tarted up to look like something else. It's insulting and offensive. Use a Twitter banner ad, or make us watch a little video intro if you must, but lose the MAN WALKS ON THE MOON headlines in your endless number of Twitter "stories." Better yet, give us a break and give Twitter a rest.
