Fox News: Teabagging Jokes Not Funny

Fox News has apparently joined with the joykillers in decrying all of the teabagging jokes that the Fox News Tea Parties have inspired and engendered in the populace. This is tragic. In the first place, the enjoyment of the teabagging jokes are the one thing on which Tea Party participants and Tea Party critics can agree. And aren't the things that bind us more important than the things that divide us? Our founding fathers thought so! More to the point, though, it's a disappointment for Fox News to be taking this position, because they're typically not given to prudishness. Fox is the most reliably and gratuitously sex-crazed news network in America!

But what saddens me most about Fox taking a stand against the teabagging jokes that are stimulating the media economy, is this baseless intimation:

Teabagging, for those who don't live in a frat house, refers to a sexual act involving part of the male genitalia and a second person's face or mouth.

Jeez! What does Fox News have against this nation's fine college fraternities?

However, here is some revelatory reportage:

Max Pappas, public policy vice president at FreedomWorks -- a small-government group which promoted the tea parties -- said it's a "shame" media outlets cracked jokes at a genuine "grassroots uprising."

"I think what that reveals is how worried they are that this might actually be something serious. You make fun of things you're afraid of, I'd say," Pappas said.

So there you have it: Republicans are apparently terrified of teleprompters!

It can only happen my friend if you stop watching and drop switch to cable company who has msnbc not fox..and see what happens....if they are out of business it will be hard for GOP to get into the public. Don't be so glum teabaggers! You may be on your knees but if you just look up and open your mouths in joy things will come to a happy ending. My assumption is that Bush supporters would feel that there were lots of "hateful and nasty" signs about him just as Obama supporters feel about the recent protest signage.
It's the nature of protests that they heighten emotions and provide a platform for a more extreme expression of anger or frustration.

People have the right to express their opinions. i just wish the people making the signs would have some basis in fact, or some rational reasoning, for their claims.
