Wall Street Journal:

Apple is about to remove the shackles from developers of applications for the iPhone.

While iPhone users have mostly praised the steady stream of games, guides and other programs released thus far, many developers have been frustrated by their inability to do more, such as allow users to purchase digital content within an application. I talked my sister into getting an Itouch and she LOVES it!!!! I've been a "Mac-Man" for 20-years and can't wait 'till I can get my own Itouch and all the APPS that I think I need.

My iPhone is the BEST! The worst thing about it , however, is AT&T. I experienced my first 3G DEAD ZONE. My brother still uses Verizon and his phone worked perfectly. The iPhone is SOOOOO MUCH MORE than a cell phone. The APPS make it your own personal mini-computer! It is DA BOMB!

I am constantly in awe of what Apple comes up with for the public. How can it be that they so consistently thrill us?

How about SKYPE on the iPhone!
10:42 AM on 04/20/2009
I could be wrong of course, but I am pretty sure they already have SKYPE. I am pretty sure I remember seeing it in the App store
11:09 AM on 04/20/2009

Wondering if some of the Apps will be 'applicable' to the iPod touch as well.
10:41 AM on 04/20/2009
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I was pretty sure all the apps are available for both. I have a Touch and I have always been able to get any app I wanted.

No kidding.
We first thought - not the cheapest toy in the box. But WOW, we use it all the time for everything. Actually, saves from buying other gadgets that would be redundant and not as good.
We love ours.
