Well, that about sums up the true motivation of Israel right there. They WANT the negotiations to fail, so therefore they are making circumstances as hostile for Iran as possible to encourage that end. This is like Dov Weisglas talking about Sharon's "formaldehyde" formula. Israel never negotiates in good faith, not unless there is an American president with a modicum of integrity putting pressure on the little client state.

The Palestinians and the gay community are in the same boat of oppressed people battling for equal and human rights.

The occupation does not discriminate between gay, straight, men, women, senior, or Palestinian children. This is an absurd notion and I'm sure the gay community knows better than to associate themselves with this cruel state.

Gotta give it to the Israelies man...for now 'calibrating' a "Human Rights" campaign by using us gay pawns as Israel examines US culture and realizes that this is the main (already-lost) cultural battle taking place in the US. Will somebody please hand a mirror over to Israelies since they probably don't understand that they had 'blood' in their hands?

How predictable....they launch this 'gay campaign' to be 'n sync with what's about to happen in the US, which is universal gay marriage won state-by-state.

What will be next? Will they become more friendly with Latin America and accept immigration and (Arab) diversity within its boundaries?

Israel been tolerant of gays for a while. The arab world executes gays and oppresses far, far more women. But some hate blinds people. Arab countries have far less diversity than Israel(that is a FACT), just try and start a catholic church in Iran , or Saudi Arabia. See what happens to gays in those "diverse" countries.

Kinda of seems dishonest to attack Israel for violating human rights when countries in the region oppresses far, far more people. But don;t think the concern is for treating people fairly but rather bashing jews.

Maybe Latin America kinda should have not sheltered Nazi's after WW2. So latin america got no place to whine about Israel.

So Israel is saying that its okay for them to abuse human rights because the Iranians are bad to their gay community.

What has Iran's human rights record got in common with Israels? They are BOTH appalling. By pointing out the mote in their neighbours eye, they simply draw attention to the beam in their own. Pot, meet kettle.

I remember reading about the the gay rights parade in Israel and the Orthodox Jews thew garbage and spit on the people who were participating. No an endearing quality for a religious state. I think gay folks in general know you don't make peace by killing or blowing your neighbors up.

Anyway. the US is still not going to bomb Iran for Israel regardless of any PR campaign.

The Israelis need to get hold of their government they have a bunch of nut jobs running the show.

Seriously, if you guys can't make peace please leave the US out of it.

What is a Criminal state? is it a country who uses its secret service to train armed gangs of thugs in Military tactics so that they can kill off their political opposition(Mossad), is it a state in which non nationals and ethnic minorities are treated like animals, with no rights or dignity or oppertunity for a happy life. Or perhaps a criminal state is one which pretends to be secular and Democratic yet allows religious hard liners to use God as the reason why they deny their minorities their human rights. There are many such states in our world today and one such state is Israel. But please understand I am not Pro-Iranian nor am I am Muslim, but i do believe that you should know who you are going to bed with, and as Americans we are in bed with Israel. And no one can better elucidate these points than the great Jewish-American scholar and philosopher, Noam Chomsky. If any of you are interested in sources that you can look up for yourself, please go and check Chomsky out. Iran and Israel are both engaged in the same criminal activities, and thus should get equal treatment from the International community.

Polls taken and published last month in the NYTIMES-NO ISRAEL LOVER- show that Palestinians are treated better by Israel than in any Arab nation! Don't forget...many Arab nations still keep their so-called "Palestinian" brothers and sisters in refugee camps. What threat are they to their fellow Arabs??
