NEW YORK — Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn, have welcomed their second daughter.
And, Grohl says, she likes to make noise.
The 40-year-old rocker says Harper Willow Grohl was born on April 17. She is 7 pounds, 8 ounces, 20 inches long and _ Grohl says _ "loud as hell."
He says Harper Willow is named after his great-uncle Harper Bonebrake.
Grohl and his wife also have a 3-year-old daughter, Violet. The couple married in 2003.

The F/F are absolutely terrific in concert. They go all-out and give their customer a huge bang for the buck, too. I love their self-depreciating sense of humor; here is one band that does NOT take itself too seriously (I'm talking to you, Bono). congrats dave. and to all the haters, i was listening to nirvana on college radio in atlanta long before MTV had ever heard of them. nirvana got their chance because of bands like the red hot chili peppers, soundgarden, and mother love bone (who became pearl jam after their original lead singer died of a heroin overdose, and soundgarden introduced the remaining members to a new guy, eddie veder). kurt made his impact, but he couldn't control his demons. instead of becoming a true legend, he became the poster-boy for the next generation of why you don't mess with the hard stuff. kurt is the reason bands like slipknot and mudvayne are going strong after 10 years, they were able to look at kurt and say "i don't want to burn out."
foo fighters friggen rock. saw them headlining a 3-day festival in tampa that included static-x, kitty, disturbed, and linkin park, and foo fighters brought it harder and louder than any of the opening acts.
and to the people whining about dave not playing drums anymore, go pick up nine inch nails "with teeth" (first time trent used a live studio drummer) or queens of the stone age "songs for the deaf".
Oh yeah, I used to watch these guys long before they became well known. Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, the whole Seattle "grunge" scene. He's as talented as hell, congratulations to him and his wife.
I knew about them before they even knew about themselves. I lived in the PAC - NW in the 80's and early 90's and I saw these dudes at the bus stop - like when they were preteens and they were all singing all this Ozzy stuff and Zep stuff, but with a definite grungy kind of take on it. I offered them a ride in my windowless van and took them to a hidden lair where I taught them to rock - but not just to rock, to Grunge Rock!
Upon reflection, I wish I would have not provided them with so many hard drugs. As slipknot proves, you can still make Hard Rock but only use Soft Drugs, like wellbutrin and cialis. Rock is dead they say. Their was one?

I have a friend who's interviewed him a bunch of times, and think he's the bee's knees. And normal baby names! Congrats to all involved.
