Beyonce: Inauguration "The Best Moment Of My Career" (VIDEO)

The always-lovely Beyonce sat down with David Letterman Wednesday night and talked to him about the inauguration, twitter and her bruises.

Letterman asked about singing "At Last" for the Obama's first dance at the Neighborhood Ball, and Beyonce told him, "It was, I think, the best moment of my career. I was so nervous, and so honored to be there... I've never watched one of my performances so many times."

She also talked about husband Jay-Z changing lyrics to "99 Problems and a Bitch Ain't One" to "99 Problems and a Bush Ain't One" for a performance in front of Obama campaign volunteers.

Later she talks about not twittering ("I pick up the phone") and how her tour harness gives her bruises.

Now that her concerts are not selling out, she had to reduce prices to $20, and now she's scheduled to perform in casinos and theatres, SHE USES THE OBAMA CARD.

This chick is so calculating. From fake tears, to the staged publicity stunt vocals from the Today show, she's back in better spirits after shedding tears for her mother when she has never ever gotten emotional over her family ever.

This chick knows Obsession MUST do well in the theatres after Cadillac Records flopped and failed to break even before going to DVD. LMFAOOOOOO

This chick is so overrated and has overstayed her welcome.

Perhaps if she makes classic, MATURE music and stop being an opportunist and a slave to endorsements she can be taken seriously.

I want to like Beyonce. I really do, especially since my teen daughter loves her so much, but something prevents it. I'm always pushing my daughter to strive for knowledge, focusing on intelligence and talking to her about not using her looks to get ahead. Beyonce has got to be one of the dumbest entertainers. When she opens her mouth, she sounds like Forrest Gump, and that's no Southern accent. I'm from the South and intelligent people don't talk like that. She also strikes me as an attention hound. Perhaps if she did like Alicia Keys and laid low for a while, I'd like her more. The media acts as if she and Halle Berry are the only attractive black women in Hollywood.

Plus, Etta James made "At Last" famous, not Beyonce. It was an insult for her too beg to sing that song at the inauguration without at least asking Ms. James to join her. If I were Etta, I'd be mad, too.

I don't hate the young lady, I just think she's overrated.

Beyonce may not be a model of intelligentsia, but she is certainly not just getting by on her looks. She has shown herself to be the bastion of professionalism and hard work in this industry. She is an accomplished singer/songwriter who often produces and arranges her own music. She is also a CONSUMMATE stage performer which hasn't been since since Janet Jackson in the 80s. Everybody Beyonce performance is polished, innovative and exciting to watch. She blows almost all other performers out of the water w/her vocal prowess LIVE WHILE DANCING. only a select few pop stars excel at that nowadays. So your teen daughter's admiration of Be is well deserved and warranted.
