Salma Hayek and Francois-Henry Pinault are following up their Parisian Valentine's Day nuptials with a weekend blowout in Venice.

Friday night a slew of guests, including Jacques Chirac, Anna Wintour, Charlize Theron and Zhang Ziyi attended a masked party at the Punta Della Dogana, Venice's old custom house.

Hayek and Pinault, a French businessman and the son of billionaire Francois Pinault, brought their 19-month-old daughter Valentina as well as Pinault's son from a previous marriage.

They left for dinner from the Cipriani hotel, as did many of the guests. Also spotted out and about in Venice right now, presumably for the festivities, have been Ed Norton, Woody Harrelson, Ashley Judd, Olivier Martnez and David Blaine.

The masks look a bit cumbersome, to say the least. I'm glad no one fell into the canal as it looks like they can't see! I also thought it was traditional to to put on your wedding band and then your engagement ring - looks like Salma does the opposite. Maybe it's different in Europe?

I've adored my 'Frida" for years. Am delighted that she has found love and has a wonderful daughter. I hpoe this guy's worthy of her--seems so. Perhaps with wealth in the family our Salma will produce more movies (while producing more offspring, who knows). She lights up our lives, I'm so glad to see hers lighting up. Love 'ya Salma.
