Mika Brzezinski's Plastic Hair Clip Garners Rave Reviews (VIDEO)

"Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski, who recently showed off her high heels on the Huffington Post, sparked a new style craze with a casual coif on Monday's show. Joe Scarborough introduced the topic, saying "Just to take you behind the scenes of 'Morning Joe'...Tina Brown was complimenting Mika on her hair. Emailers are doing the same."

Mika appeared surprised, saying "The plastic clip look?!"

One piece of fan mail read: "My husband just walked in the room and commented, 'She looks amazing with her hair pulled back.' It's true. She looks beautiful. It brings out the natural graciousness of her character."

"Oh my goodness!" Joe exclaimed. "Well, actually Mika did it because she was out until 3 last night drinking and it was just a lot easier to pull it up."

Mika defended herself, saying "I just don't have the time."

I believe Mika is a very beautiful woman ,I used to love looking at her when I watched the show regularly leading up to the election. Sine the election is over I dont watch the show as much ,in addition to just loving looking at Mika ,I watch the show to listen to Chuck Todd handicap the-then oncoming elections. Oh it was so much music to my ear to hear Todd say Obama got most of the states wrapped up. Love you Mika.

it is to watch the constant flipping of the hair or moving the hair behing the ear.

However, the most cruel & unusual punishment to view is the coiffure that covers

Every time the numbskulls on Morning Blo comment on Mika's hair, shoes, or usage of sexual aids, any credibility she as a reputable newswoman goes right out the window. Typical male Republican chauvanism - never taking a woman seriously and treating her like a sexual object. Mika needs to re-negotiate the terms of her contract and stipulate no more cracks, comments, or observations about her appearance or anything of a personal nature. I'm no Republican and I can't stand her viewpoint, but this woman needs to stand up for herself and stop being the "darling" of that show if she has any professional pride or self-respect left.
