Pat

Pat Buchanan acknowledged to MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall on Tuesday that his party is facing a severe "demographic problem" in the years to come -- specifically, the GOP is on its way to becoming an all-white party.

"There's a real demographic problem with the Republican Party," Buchanan said. "It is a heavily white party, quite frankly. And as a share of the electorate, that is diminishing and Hispanics are growing very rapidly, Asians are growing rapidly, and by two-thirds they tend to vote Democratic."

Buchanan told Hall that the party is losing young people as well.

"Young people increasingly are more liberal and more socially moderate, and they move away from the Republican Party," he said. "These things are undeniable, the Republican party ... is in tough shape."

But Buchanan said the party shouldn't be written off just yet, and said Republicans have made impressive comebacks from deep deficits before.

I went though the Goldwater disaster, when we were down to 140 House seats and we were dead forever, and I came with Nixon in '66 and we won 47 House seats and we won 5 out of the next 6 presidential elections. I don't think that's necessarily in the cards, but I think it'd be foolish at this point when Obama is at his peak, really, to write off the Republican party for 2010.

The Republicans are completely non-viable when it comes to Hispanics, Asians, Blacks, All Minorities, Open-Minded Youth, Open-Minded Moderates, Independents, Progressives.... but don't count us out.

When do you think people started counting the Whigs out?

I think Pat doesn't clearly comprehend how entirely morally and intellectually bankrupt the "Party of Ideas" is. They haven't had a new idea since Mein Kampf was written.

the republican party and their base is akin to Pres. Obama devoting all his campaign time to Harlem or any other predominantly black city in America...

Correction... A "Heavily white and old party"

It looks as if the Republicans are finished, but don't write them off just yet. Remember this is the party of management, military officers, old money, wealth and privilege, ambassadors, high level officials, Ivy League graduates and residents of neighborhoods where the air is clean, the water is drinkable and life is good. They do not want to give up their lifestyles and many of them have grown up in a world where it was always their way or the highway. These are people who send others to do dirty jobs like clean sewers or charge machine gun nests and then they stiff them on their pay and benefits. They are scheming, selfish, conniving, clever people who think that they do not owe anybody anything despite the sacrifices the masses make for them on a daily basis. I have a feeling they will not hesitate to turn their guns inward if it really appears as if they will lose everything. Many believe that's what happened on 9/11; I don't know if that's true or not, but they have to be watched right up until the last minute, like a war criminal who is a known escape risk facing execution.

But you have forgotten something. Us "peons" have taken up the cause. We took hold of our pitchforks and torches and stormed the Castle gates!

I do agree, that we should not become complacent about the GOP. But with every passing day that one of their legislators or pundits steps before a microphone and opens their mouth, they lose more of their base!

Well Pat...that's true. And when the 'South' declared that they would...'rise again'...They weren't talking about academic standards, tolerance, logical thinking, patriotism or equal rights for gays, non-Christians or any other group .."they's askeert:... of. The Bible Belt is tightening around their collective necks and they've nowhere to run. They will have to eventually either embrace the hate groups, (KKK , Aryan Nation, et al.) and the bigoted Christian Conservative extremists, etc, or simply fade away. I've a feeling they'll simply rebrand with a NEW name, yet the same soul.....At the very least, most Americans and a majority of the globe are opening their eyes to the sickening schism of hatred, religious hate and ignorance of a minority of pasty white guys and busty, wide-eyed, follow the leader gals here involved in our Republic's government. I'd always suspected the breadth of stupidity and ignorance in the nation's capitol...yet I had NO idea of the depth. This last election cycle and the continuing Republican meltdown only serves to expose it even more. Teach your children well.....

Patty Buch can hope for a comeback all he wants, but until the GOP reform their stance on immigration, they will continue to push away large segments of conservative-leaning Asians and Hispanics. No matter one's stance on social issues like abortion or gay marriage, it's hard to support a party that wants you, your relatives, and/or your kinsmen out of the country (except when they need railroads built or fields farmed).

There will always be selfish, self serving, right wing, bigots espousing their stupid dogma to fill the ranks of the republican party in those areas where they can be elected. But those areas are shrinking slowly but surely and will continue to do so, in part because of the GOP's own policies when they were in power. Sorry Pat, your fate is that you, like your cronies, are becoming a victim of your own ugly philosophy. The old saying, "give them enough rope and they will hang themselves" is true, and that is just what the Republican party did.

Patrick Buchanan (The MSNBC political analyst) is really: Beelzebub-- (Judeo-Christian and Islamic religions) chief spirit of evil and adversary of God; tempter of mankind; master of Hell,…an a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; "he lost his faith but not his morality"
The Kingdom of Satan

Satan is in Control of Human Governments

DECEPTION DIMINISHES POWER
Knowledge is power, and lies diminish the knowledge of deceived dupes, and therefore diminishes the power of the deceived. Deception obscures the alternatives that people have. It also clouds up various objectives people would work toward. Some people give up certain objectives due to their mis-perceptions that the objective is undesirable or unattainable.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

So the former Republican administration was composed of demons and those possessed by demons? That explains a lot.
