ABC News:

President Obama is receiving a "D" for his handling of state secrets in a "rule of law" report card prepared by fellow Democrat Russ Feingold, a Wisconsin senator who heads a subcommittee on the Constitution.

"One hundred days into this administration, it's appropriate to assess how well the president has done so far," Feingold told ABC News. "I recognize that some of these issues will take time, but given how important these issues are to the country, Americans deserve a fair assessment of the administration's progress."

Yep, LOL, Fear ruled! And, like it or not, were Russ POTUS he too would necessaritly be very mindful of "politics." Few do it well, FDR comes to mind and, although I dispise what he did to our country, I must admit that Reagan knew how to play the game... However, to date, Obama seems to be born for the job and on that I give him an A. But because as a Senator he signed that awful FISA bill, and is now employing it against we the sheeple, I give him a D on defending the constitution/transparancy. To date, he gets a C on Iraq and I'll wait and see on Afghanistan. Over all I give him a C... However when compared to Bush, he gets an A+++++++++

You wouldn't admit an Obama success under any circumstances, so your point is moot.

Fiengold is starting to become annoying like Krugman.

If Obama gets a D I wonder what Bush gets.

I guess we can't all be PERFECT like him.

Oh please. This president needs to keep the country safe, not to indulge some unrealistic and naive expectations. He doesn't need to publish anything that he finds dangerous. After all, he is the one who gets the intelligence briefings every day, not Feingold.

Yeah, because defending the people is his job. If that is what you, and President Obama believe, then you both need to go back to read the oath of office. It states, "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the CONSTITUTION of the United States."

Your argument was the same legal validity that President Bush used for his Constitution shredding arguments.

And before the Obama apologists come after me for saying that President Obama is not supposed to protect the people, read the constitution again, and then remember that protecting the country from enemies foreign and domestic is a PART (notice my word "part") of the Constitution.
