Top 50 US Renewable Energy Consumers (SLIDESHOW)

The EPA released a list of the top 50 organizations buying renewable energy in partnership with them. One or two took me by surprise -- New York University's in the top 50, as is the EPA itself.

Purchase figures are based on annualized Partner contract amounts (kilowatt-hours), not calendar year totals. These rankings are updated on a quarterly schedule. The rankings below are based on data received as of April 7, 2009.
