Donald Trump To Appear On "The View" For First Time Since Feud

NEW YORK — Celebrity feuds can't last forever when there is publicity to be had. Just ask Donald Trump and Barbara Walters. Trump is booked to appear next Tuesday on Walters' daytime show "The View." He will promote a book and the season finale of "The Apprentice."

Trump gets publicity, while Walters lands an attention-getting guest during a ratings sweeps month.

He hasn't been on the show since he got in the middle of Rosie O'Donnell's ugly exit from "The View" two years ago. He told reporters that Walters had said that she was happy O'Donnell had been fired, which Walters denied publicly.

The two broke the ice when Trump appeared on Walters' satellite radio show a few weeks ago.

Funny, from the segments I've watched, I would have said it's Goldberg's show. Although I'm not a regular viewer, they argue frequently enough about things like teaching evolution and creation, or Elisabeth calls Joe the Plumber an ignoramus, that clips seem to show up here on Huffington Post about once a week. I guess her intelligen­ce just makes Whoopi Goldberg the de facto moderator whenever they discuss anything interestin­g.

She lost that years ago.

Her old friend the opera singer did it right -- went out when on top of her game. She told Walters to do the same but Walters was too deaf to listen.

I agree with this 100%! Barbara what are you doing, have you no respect for yourself or the other wonderful women that work for you (besides Lizzy)? I can not believe Joy or Whoopi are very happy about this. Come on... he went on every show he could and called you a bold face lier. Barbara it is time for you to go, you are doing more harm then good by this decision.
