This is why Glenn Beck was so enthusiastic about getting poor uninformed Americans to protest with their teabags, because Obama's tax plan will affect him greatly.
Word of advice to Americans. If radio and TV broadcasters that earn 20 times what you do in a year start telling you to protest on their behalf against things that don't even affect you and are actually in your best interests, you should be skeptical regarding their motives and agenda.

I personally am delighted by Glen's success. It keeps you people mollified, going to your little fringe rallies, and doing nothing politically meaningful other than alienate independent voters. And boasting of Fox's ratings as though that has anything on earth to do with votes. The last poll showed that 21% of Americans identify as republicans. Go, Glen, go!

I would imagine that the widows, children and other family members of those five slain policemen by those who believe Beck hate his success too.
Success should not be measure on how much money a person can make, but by the actions and good things a person can do for society. Sorry, but Glenn does not make our society a better place. Instead, he profits from the fears of people and his rhetoric adds fuel to the fire.

Nope. Success at the expense of already poor and destitute people who aren't being done any favors by Beck's rages of paranoia bothers me.
I don't know, maybe it's just me but this guy doesn't have the "it" factor. I'm actually surprised he's bound to make that much. I always thought of him as the lowest of the conservative, obama-bashing, dem-ha ting foodchain.
OF COURSE Beck, Limbaugh, and other multi-millionaires are arguing against Obama's policies, which include tax *increases* on them, for example. I can understand their position on that. They are greedy and don't want to give up the gold.

Taxes will be going up on the middle-class too. It's the only way to pay for Obama's budget.
First, you properly have to define who the "middle class" are.
Many people who make a pretty decent wage, and even a few who don't, consider themselves middle class, although they are actually "working class".
However, the real middle class comprises those who have a professional degree, own their own business or hold an upper management in a corporation, and make upwards of $200,000 a year.
If you have ever put off buying a new coat for yourself because the kids need new shoes or the car has to get fixed, if you have ever been passed over for promotion because you don't have a degree, or if you have never received a performance bonus for firing people, you are not middle class.
