Poll: Bush Getting Even More Unpopular Out Of Office

A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found that former President Bush's popularity has dropped since he left office.

When he left office in January, 31 percent of American's viewed him positively. That number has now dropped to 26 percent.

President Barack Obama, meanwhile, is more popular than the past two presidents at this point during their first terms.

According to the poll, 61 percent approve of Obama's job -- that's compared with George W. Bush's 56 percent and Bill Clinton's 52 percent at this same juncture in their presidencies.

Also, 64 percent view Obama favorably versus 23 percent who see him in a negative light -- once again, higher than Bush's and Clinton's scores on this question.

Additionally, 64 percent of Americans also "feel more hopeful about the direction of the country with Obama in office," and a full 59 percent feel he has accomplished a "great deal" or a "fair amount."

I never liked him from the get-go either. I could never see this clown on the world stage. And the fact he ran his companies into the ground spoke volumes to me. I felt terrible fear when he was elected.

I, too, have despised the man from the first time I heard him speak. He was, is, and always will be, a rich kid who's father paved the way for him, to the point that the kid grew into a man without abilities, intellect or work ethic to be a box boy in a grocery story, let alone hold high office.

It's very depressing to learn that a whole 26% of our country is brain-dead, brain-washed, and totally uneducated and divorced from reality. Shouldn't there be a commission about that?

Why on Earth would anyone pay to hear him speak? I know of only 2 engagements he has had so far and they are both in Canada. Why? The man has no credibility! Every day his policies, appointments and insights into illegal 'doings' are coming to light. Who would pay to listen? And furthermore a library? Possibly a 16 wheeler book-mobile with a library filled with all the books that 'expose' his wrongdoings... that I can see. I only hope the movie is better than any book(s).
