Recently Arianna sat down with Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson as part of the Digg Dialogg series, where Digg users are given the chance to submit questions to notable leaders and luminaries. Arianna joined Branson on Virgin America's inaugural flight from San Francisco to Orange County to get the Digg community's questions answered.

You can catch a quick preview of the 20,000-foot-high exchange below, where Branson answers two of the most popular questions: "What is it like to be rich enough to wear naked babes as a clothing accessory?" and "When do you believe an average middle class family will be able to take a trip into space?"

Check out Arianna's full interview with Branson below:

How diluted can you be. Happiness requires a car with 4 wheels that is environmentally friendly, combined with a middle class family taking a trip into space, all while flying in your jet. Have these people ever had a coherent thought??

The earth cannot sustain space tourism. Solid rocket propellant is toxic.

Space tourism really won't use solid propellant for long. Virgin's SS2 uses hybrid nitrous oxide (oxidizer) / composite rubber-like solid (fuel). That's not ideal but it's really not that bad. Also, SS2 is air-launched, from ~15 km altitude. Orbital space tourism will probably end up with liquid oxygen (oxidizer) / liquid oxygen (fuel), which is harmless. When burned fuel rich, a small proportion of the exhaust is ozone, which isn't good. Otherwise, it's pure water vapor. Water vapor is a natural greenhouse gas, but releasing it into the atmosphere won't have the harmful effect normal greenhouse gases do.

Arianna how perfect! The miraculous lady meets the outrageous gentleman. As a filmmaker I was blown away by the gorgeous lady he was wearing. Beats out James Bond, for sure.

I'd love to have seen something about his challenge to budding scientists in Feb 2007 to come up with an idea to remove a billion tons of co2 for the atmosphere... he does do a lot of good, and is a class act - never did hear how that thing turned out, but I would have suggested some sort of full-circle blue-green algae scenario...

Whoa, he totally dodged the first question on wealth. Anyone could have come up with that answer. Come on Richard, that question was asked to YOU for a reason - you own your own island for christ's sake! Disappointed.

If every billionaire was like Richard Branson the world would be a much better place.

I was pleasantly surprised. I thought most of the Digg questions were dumb but Branson went beyond the questions to talk about very candidly about himself and his charities. I actually thought it was pretty classy not that self-serving at all. He could have stayed strictly to the questions but he didn't. Good interview. Kudos to Arianna and Richard.
