Kilmer Elementary In Rogers Park Reopening After Swine Flu Case
CHICAGO (AP) -- The first Illinois school to close because of swine flu is getting ready to reopen.
Chicago Public Schools spokeswoman Monique Bond says Kilmer Elementary School on the city's North Side will reopen on Wednesday.
The school closed last week when a 12-year-old student fell ill.
Officials say other Illinois schools also are reopening after closing last week.
And a U.S. health official said Tuesday that schools no longer need to close because of swine flu.
