Banks finally looks like something. The style is elegant, and somewhat reminiscent of Dorothy Dandridge when she performed 'Chattanooga Choo Choo' with the Nicolas Brothers in 'Sun Valley Serenade.'

ITA. The fact that her hair is nearly nonexistant on the side, and with that lump of hair on top, it looks odd---like she's wearing a hair hat.

Hard chic, but a sophisticated retro look suitable for evening only. It reminds me of actresses such as Joan Crawford and the look of the mid- to late 1940s. I recall seeing photos from that period of women with their hair piled high atop their heads, wearing hip-length swingy mink jackets with ENORMOUS shoulders. However, I have difficulty imagining that very many women could sucessfully pull off that look or would want to try. It works for Miss Banks for some special occasion. Trying on different hairstyles is fun. It's definitely a conversation piece.
