Jon Favreau Brings Mom As Date To TIME 100 Gala (PHOTOS)

Jon Favreau, best known as runner-up in the Huffington Post's White House Hottest contest, and secondly as President Obama's 27-year-old speechwriter, had a gorgeous gal on his arm at Tuesday night's TIME 100 event: his mother Lillian.

The Favreaus worked the red carpet at the start of the night: Jon was wearing a tux and Lillian looked lovely in a strapless black gown and an elegant blonde bob.

Jon later ate dinner at a table with Lorne Michaels, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, David Lauren (son of Ralph) and Lauren Bush (niece of George W.). He also posed for pictures with designer Stella McCartney.

Way to go Jon! I'd bring my mom too! Of course, I'd have to have 3 tickets, because Tim and my mom would demand it so they could walk around evaluating people's outfits and attitudes together. Its so nice to have a partner who gets along with my 'mere.'
