Man Sues For $1 Over Right To Wear Skirt In Public

NEW ORLEANS — A man sued the New Orleans Police Department, claiming he was harassed by an officer who threatened to arrest him for wearing a black pinstriped skirt to municipal court. Jeremy Don Kerr is asking for $1 in damages, a ruling that his rights were violated, and an order against barring access to public facilities because of gender stereotyping.

The department hasn't been served with the lawsuit and hasn't answered the claim in court.

Kerr filed the civil rights lawsuit last month. He said he finds skirts more comfortable than pants, and wears them with button-down oxfords or T-shirts.

And he said women love it.

Utility Kilts are great. I lots of manly men wear them as well as men who are of various orientations. They are just great fun fashion that are derived from Celtic Origins. I love them especially if they are worn with some cute knee high Stomper boots (San Francisco boot store)

he should wear one as long as its long enough to cover the point but short enough to keep it interesting.thats how my teacher used to say an essay paper should be, like a girl's skirt.

I know someone who wears a Utilikilt because:

1) they are made in the US
2) the fabric is sourced in the US

kilt or skirt just as long as his calfs are nicely proportioned and not overly hairy, it's okay. I lived in Scotland for abut 4 years, the guys and older men were cute, even in a tee-shirt. They were so confident and I think the element of unrestricted possibilities made them more attractive to women.

I agree that skirts are more comfortable, but when I wear one, it's called a kilt.
