It was just another day at the office when Harry Letterman, five, stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday night.
Dave pointed out his waving son in a balcony over the stage saying, "Hi Harry! Ladies and gentleman, it's my son Harry!"
A few minutes later, Harry interrupted his dad, blowing kisses and calling out "bye!" Dave waved back and said, "Thank you sweetheart, thanks for stopping by," and Harry walked out.

I just love it when I hear a man calling his child or children honey or sweetheart!
Harry is unbelievably adorable. I think I see a little Dave in him. Talk about a proud Dad. That will keep the old ticker a little healthier.

How old is David Letterman? I always feel bad for kids who have significantly older parents. They have so much less time with them.
all of the kids i know who have older parents actually spend more time with them bc they aren't so consumed by outside interferences. however, i would have agreed with you if you had posted the same thing about significantly younger parents.
ohhhhhhhh, now i get what you were saying. lol
sorry for misinterpreting. but i will say, we never know how much time any of us have, and what a joy it must be to have a child at an age when things like time and money matter less than the happiness and security.

He was married to Michelle Cook for 8 years before he married Regina. I agree with what you said about the adoration of his child and I am glad he and Regina are married and they are a sweet family, bless their hearts. I never thought I would see the day where Dave Letterman had a child.
