If reporters had been more offended and irked during the last administration MAYBE we would not be in the mess we are in right now.
Accept what you are given and live with it.

Another misleading Politico article acting as tho the O administration is the first or the worst
to do this. When that is just plain wrong.

Must be a slow news day for them.

Boo-freaking--hoo network execs. Should we remind these privileged ove- compensated whiners that the airwaves belong to the people--not to them. Remember? The networks have a responsibility to ensure that the airwaves are used for the public good--not just to fatten their wallets.

They sound like Georgie "It's hard work!" They got used to the previous administration, handing out talking points, that they just turned into their "news" organizations as investigative reporting. Who pays attention to their bs. anyway? They were not doing their jobs for 8 years, their newspapers are slipping into oblivion, so NOW they blame the WH?

Oh...right....I believe P.o.l.i.t.i.c.o's "sources that can't be named". They have the credibility or dirt.

Aren't we advanced enough that we could hold these press conferences live and online ?

You know - like the court seen in the first Superman Movie with the giant heads on the Screen.

If they only knew how much contempt we have for them; they wouldn't even show-up at the WH each day. They are totally wasted resources and money!

They are using background briefings to prevent the person providing the information from getting smeared. Everyone saw how the press was acting in the first few weeks of the administration so I can't really blame them from trying to protect their officials. This way if things are bad or the information is incorrect the president himself takes the blame.
