White House Correspondents' Dinner: Wanda Sykes Knocks Sarah Palin Over Abstinence

Wanda Sykes, the featured entertainer at tonight's White House Correspondents' Dinner, aimed one of her dirtier jokes at Governor Sarah Palin. Sykes noted that Palin had been scheduled to appear but then pulled out at the last minute. Sykes then remarked: "Somebody should tell her that's not really how you practice abstinence."

I thought she was rather easy, too, especially on Rush and Hannity. I would have loved a few more hard-hitting cracks at those two. Of course, in that forum she could only go so far and say so much. What she did was great . . . but just one more dig . . . would have been fabulous.
