Carrie Prejean: 'Satan Was Trying To Tempt Me,' Plus New Pics With Michael Phelps

As Miss California Carrie Prejean's fate is being decided by Miss USA pageant owner Donald Trump, who has called a Tuesday morning press conference to announce if she'll keep her crown or will lose it due to contract violations, Prejean is keeping busy talking to Dr. James Dobson about how Satan tried to tempt her with a question about gay marriage at the Miss USA pageant.

She is a guest Monday and Tuesday on "Focus on the Family," as TMZ is revealing just how badly she lied about the topless photos she took. She took not only more than one (obviously), which she lied about, but she took them this year, not when she was 17.

An exchange with Dobson:

Dobson: Why did you give the answer you did with regard to the affirmation of marriage?

Prejean: . . . I felt as though Satan was trying to tempt me in asking me this question. And then God was in my head and in my heart saying, "Do not compromise this. You need to stand up for me and you need to share with all these people . . . you need to witness to them and you need to show that you're not willing to compromise that for this title of Miss USA."

And I knew right here that it wasn't about winning. It was about being true to my convictions.

She grabbed Phelps for a photo-op. Not very green, going all the way to Vegas for a picture. Dirty.com et. al is her publicist which is how he got the photos - so she has rigged up the pageant question.

According to her publicist then, he claims to have done a good job.

Are we in the public merely clueless?

Dear Ms. Prejean,

It is time for you to grow up and become an adult.

There are no boogie men hiding under your bed. Unicorns do not live in a land of rainbows. And there are no disembodie­d beings such as demons, angels, Satan, or God.

There is just us and we owe it ourselves and to one another to make this the best of all possible worlds that we are capable of creating. Love is hard enough to have flowering in your life. Let people who love each other be.

Oh, and sorry to be the one to break it to you, but Santa Claus isn't real either.

Look, everyone. People have a right to marry whoever they like - but this is some bull. OK? It was a loaded question asked of an idiot. She stated her beliefs, and then basically got blasted for it because she didn't say what the questioner wanted. Kudos, in point of fact, for not being intimidate­d and staying closed-min­ded, bigoted and stupid in front of someone who was clearly going to give you problems if you said how you actually felt. All this piling on is just dumb, people. Seriously. She wasn't nominated for a Nobel Prize, she's in a contest that comes down to "how do you look in a bathing suit".
