I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Cher showed age is just a number when she walked on stage in Vegas over the weekend in a sheer black body suit reminiscent of the one she first wore 20 years ago, dancing around an aircraft carrier in the "Turn Back Time" music video.

Now 62, she looked as good as ever in the bejeweled ensemble, complete with thigh high boots and suspenders.

She was performing at the music producer David Foster's "'Hit Man: David Foster and Friends" concert at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Good for her. She's managed to stay in good shape at her age (although I'm sure with some cosmetic help), but she should flaunt it if she feels like it. We should all aspire to be as youthful and daring when we get to her age. The digits in our age should not be our master.

People who rip Cher here are just angry with their own lives and shapes.

It's hard for such a creative, talented person like Cher to just sit at home. She will never take up knitting, that's for sure. She's a gutsy lady.

GADZOOKS!!! I applaud her bravery, but there comes a time in any person's life when you just have to accept age.

While Cher's style is not my own, I agree with the writer who said that the ugly posts are from people who really have their heads stuck in a time when over 40 meant Granny with her hair in bun, Orthopedic shoes, and zero sex life.

She is who she is, and you may not like it or approve, but I commend her & everyone else with the courage to be who they want to be, where and when they want to be - at any age!

And... my Mom is in her 60's. She may not rock it like Cher, but she looks pretty good, too.... I know her boyfriend thinks so!

Cher is in great shape...at least she appears to be...but enough is enough...at her age she needs to cover up a little more. Even when she was younger, she wore classy evening dresses...she needs to go back to that...and stop with the face lits and botox.

In our culture there are two remaining taboos-one is aging and the other is death. Both are inevitable. It is very tiresome the way women are particularly targeted as the object of ridicule and loathing as they get over the age of 40 or 50. Yes, that outfit is tacky-for anyone at any age. But Cher still looks great and she should be allowed to express herself without the ugly and insulting remarks.

What a way to get attention...

That outfit is getting a little old....just like the body that is in it.

Time to grow old gracefully Cher...

Skinny doesn't always mean sexy.

Cher proves that a black body stocking covers up a lot of disgusting attributes (though it can't quite cover the age bruises on her hip). If I recall right, she went through a phase where she developed some class, pity it didn't stick.

I like Cher, but she has often showed too much skin ,in my opinion.

Frankly, for a woman over 60- maybe even over 30 i think that she looks good. I would kill for that body as would probably most of the people writing in.

We live for the day when Cher gives up "entertaining" us for good.

She would do better to take a page from Marlene Deitrich's book. I am a fan, but really sahre, no one wants to see you like this anymore. Trust me. After sixty, even a drag queen knows better than to show this much.
