Cher Dons Sheer Black Bodysuit (PHOTOS)

Cher showed age is just a number when she walked on stage in Vegas over the weekend in a sheer black body suit reminiscent of the one she first wore 20 years ago, dancing around an aircraft carrier in the "Turn Back Time" music video.

Now 62, she looked as good as ever in the bejeweled ensemble, complete with thigh high boots and suspenders.

She was performing at the music producer David Foster's "'Hit Man: David Foster and Friends" concert at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Cher is a bundle of energy and talent. I am not crazy about her look but heck, she's made it her own with a little help from her friends.

What is a "universal" problem is the "aging rocker". This is an oxymoron and few rockers know when to give it up and go for a more mature "image". Linda Ronstadt seems to make the transition and a few others such as Bowie tried to do the classics.

Aging is never easy, but when you've carved at a rocker image you've dug yourself a deep one for your old age. Jon Bon Jovi looks kewl doesn't he?

Hey - I'm 36 and I'd kill to have a bod like Cher's. She's supposed to be over the top - she's CHER, for heaven's sake. If anything, she needs more feathers to make the look complete. What a sad world it will be when Cher walks around in beige slacks and a tasteful sweater.
