Jon & Kate May Split: She Admits Struggling, He Suspects Affair

Jon and Kate Gosselin of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" are on the covers of People AND Us Weekly this week as their marriage comes under fire. The pair and their eight kids are the stars of the TLC reality show chronicling their Pennsylvania home life.

People has an exclusive interview with Kate Gosselin who admitted her marriage is struggling.

"I don't know that we're in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing," she says quietly. "I've been struggling with the question of 'Who is this person?' for a while. I remember where I was the first time I heard her name. It's one of those things where you can try to make it go away, but there's blaring, red flashing lights."

The name to which Kate refers belongs to 23-year-old Deanna Hummel, whose brother later claimed she'd been having a months-long affair with Jon.

The affair was reported on LAST week's Us Weekly's cover as well as the issue a week before that.

Also on Tuesday Kate denied reports that she was having an affair with her bodyguard, and it appears to have been a preemptive strike against Us Weekly, which again has her on the cover this week.

Kate Gosselin grew so close to her bodyguard, Steve Neild, it caught the attention of her husband, Jon -- and has become the talk of many locals in their Berks County, Pennsylvania, community. Since May 2008, Kate has made 50 public appearances, criss-crossing the country, often with Neild by her side, as Jon stayed home with the kids. Even when at home -- whether at Starbucks or at restaurants -- Neild has been a constant companion to Gosselin, who is estranged from her family and viewed in town as not having friends.

"He threatened to hire a private investigator," a family source informed by Jon Gosselin tells Us.

Yes, Jon is clearly unhappy and Kate as usual thinks she can do it all by herself.

Well, I can definitely understand them both, but if they want to save their marriage or remain friends for that matter, I believe they have to give up the show, if they want to raise their 8 kids without causing future mental problems for all of them, seeing their parents fight all the time.

KATE REALLY THINKS SHE CAN GO ON WITH THE SHOW...

No matter if Jon remains or not. But if he does, she will make his life a "LIVING HELL." And I just read somewhere that he now wants "OUT OF THE SHOW," anyway, which is the right choice for them individually and as a family, if they are to heal at all. But Kate, being Kate, wants the $$$, and she is not willing to give up the fame and fortune they've stumbled across.

But watching her on the 5th Season, Premier show, she was just a single Mom, raising 8 kids, all alone and that was SAD AND DEPRESSING TO SAY THE LEAST !

Regardless if we agree with their choice of the reality show or not, they are a family in crisis. There are 8 children involved and they need to rethink their priorities. I think, rather than be unkind to them, we should all pray for them. Prayer truly works.

But Kate herself once disclosed on one episode: "Their children's biological grandparents on both sides do not have any input or involvement in their kid's lives."

This told a very disturbing story of Kate's own SELFISHNESS.... Wouldn't it be nice to be able to sit down with her own or Jon's mom right now to try to get a better understanding as to how to handle this crisis as a family?

My eyes could not believe what I was seeing each time the camera flashed to the babies on the floor, with various older siblings thrashing around and jumping over them. All it takes is for one of the older kids to accidently kick an infant in the head or trip and fall on them and those infants could be seriously, seriously hurt.

The cavalier attitude this woman displays while her older children are running around, hopping over and having a tantrum within reaching distance of her babies is extremely dangerous. I will be very surprised if none of those babies suffer serious injury or death soon due to the mother's carelessness. Where the (bleep) is Child Protective Services to keep the babies from harm's way???

Why is it that you seem to hate Nadya Suleman so much and hate so much hate in your heart for her children? Yes I say you have hate for her children, you must hate them to want them put in hell (8 years in 24 foster homes, that is a living hell.) I have to say , All I ve seen of the show is clips on the soup and they portray her as a real crazy. But if she's seriously had 50 tour dates in a year leaving him home with all 8 kids, he deserves a break from this wench....I divorced my X for leaving me with 2 kids once a month and never giving me a break. Now i get a break twice a month and found a real partner.
I cant imagine the stress of 8 on both of them.I dont see them breaking up. Of course this might just be BS to get the show a bit more viewership...got me interested, but i dont want to watch Jon get beat up every week.
