Lindsay Lohan's Home Not Ransacked, Just MESSY, Say Cops

LOS ANGELES — A burglar alarm led police to Lindsay Lohan's house on Tuesday, where officers found evidence of a potential break-in and ransacking.

Turns out, the mess belonged to Lohan, not the burglars, police said.

An alarm company notified police that someone tripped an alarm at the house around 3 p.m. in Hollywood. Police determined no one entered the home and nothing was stolen, but the mess inside the starlet's home prompted officers to ask, "Is it normally like this, or did the intruders do it?" said Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner.

Lohan was not at home at the time.

A message left with Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnik was not immediately returned Tuesday night.

"It was an attempted burglary," spokeswoman Karen Reyner said. "No property was taken and no one was home at the time of the incident."
Meanwhile, a source close to the matter tells E! News that a "person of interest" in the case is a man who is said to have been stalking Lohan and making threats against her. He apparently used a knife to break in.

Not so fast, Buster! Judge not, lest ye be judged. I keep a pretty clean house, and I am personally neat and tidy. However, my car is an absolute MESS! Why? I have two grandchildren who ride in the back in car seats (and snack on the way). I take two dogs to the vet and to the groomer. I have books on CDs to listen to on forty-mile round trips to the grocery store. I'm an artist, so I have "stuff" all over the place that I take to different places to drop off.

So, yes, my car is a mess. Get over it, and don't judge me by that!
