Scarborough Backs Cheney: "I Knew By The Second Day That America Was Less Safe" (VIDEO)

On MSNBC Tuesday morning, "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough justified former Vice President Dick Cheney's quickness to attack the new president. "[Obama] dismantled this program on his second day in there ...I knew by the second day that America was less safe," Scarborough said, "if you believe like I believe and 50% of Americans believe, that this program actually made America safer."

I thought the Republicans ran things with a just say no. Cheney is smoking something or his memory is in bad shape. If things are worst now than when He was in office We are looking at the end.
The Bush Administration called everyone that did not agree with them Evil. They invaded the wrong country and started a world wide economic mess.
Cheney shot his friend and thought it was best for him not to go to the hospital with him.
He thinks that water boarding is not Torture. He has said it is not important how we feel about what they have done.
I feel that the people should not give a dam what Cheney says. The Bush Administration was lead by greed and we are living in the results.

I'm all for joining a campaign to get rid of Scarborough. I would also support a national progressive boycott of all the cable media outlets that continue to expose us to Newt Gingrich, Bill Kristol, Carl Rove and Pat Buchanan. This boycott would include Chris Matthews, whom I've already quit watching. If he gives credence to Newt Gingrinch by offering him a platform on Hardball, he has by default diminished from my perspective any credibility he has as a respectable commentator.

Morning Slow at it again. I have a question for all the torture defenders out there. If waterboarding or torture worked so well, do they believe that if the tables were turned and it was them being waterboarded by al Qaida to learn about US secrets that could help al Qaida in building a terrorist plot, would people like Joe tell them everything they wanted to know or would they make anything up to stop the waterboarding? It is very easy for Morning Slow to sit there in a nice studio, sipping his Starbucks coffee, and say that these techniques worked, having not gone through the process himself.

Morning Jethro's attempts at humor are horrible. That same morning he tried and failed to imitate former MN Gov Jesse Ventura. I doubt he would've done that if Mr Ventura was sitting across from him. Only paid stooges Willie Giess and Mike Barnacle thought it was funny. In this clip he interrupts the guest to poke fun at former VP Gore's weight and appearance.

Joe looks defeated, bitter and angry and his only sanity now are sophmoric jokes and chauvinism.

I hope one day soon Mika gets so fed up with him, she interrupts one of his tirades with something like "You lost. If you and your GOP can't learn to be constructive as the minority party you'll never be relevant again." From what I've seen of the show, though, I doubt her contract allows her to be that direct.

Oh please don't take Morning Joe seriously, he still thinks his hero Ronald R is still president and that he is still a member of congress, haven't you heard him rant and rave enough about that whenever he gets the chance. The states most at risk of a terrorist attack are the states that contain the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York. Those states all voted Democrat in 2008, and I believe they all did so in 2004 as well. In other words, those citizens most likely to be attacked by terrorists in the future have overwhelmingly stated the belief that Cheney's way does NOT make us more safe. It seems for the most part that only those American who are safely isolated from the rest of the world are the ones that approve of Cheney's xenophobic tactics.
