Finally the israelis have released the map showing where the cluster bombs are . . . they should never have been used -- they should be banned . . . israel planned the whole thing months in advance . . . and who so they could get their hands on Lebanon's water . . . Lebanon has the highest water table in the Middle East

Our Prez must be strong no more aid for israel if they continue their muderous and illegal activities . . .

“Most of the cluster bomblets were fired in the last 72 hours of the 33-day war with Hezbollah militants in Lebanon in July and August 2006.
Mr Siniora said the maps and locations should have been handed over immediately after the end of hostilities in 2006.
According to the UN Mine Action Coordination Centre, about 300 civilians have since been killed or maimed by left-over munitions.
The majority of the victims were children….who had used the bomblets as toys.”

DELIBERATE...ya think???

After all Israel killed 431 children in Gaza! This is what Israel does - target children! I’m reminded of the t-shirts IDF soldiers printed with a drawing of a pregnant women with a target on her belly and the words: One shot, two kills and there were other t-shirts relating to children to the effect of “'Every Arab mother must know that the fate of her son is in my hands'”, and yet others.

And they call themselves the most “moral” military in the world. HA!

Israel's use of cluster bombs in populated areas (i.e. ALL of Gaza) is as shameful as it is shocking. It does nothing to improve Israel's standing in world opinion.

I am so very happy that President Obama has a far broader world view and will not "tolerate" such despicable tactics. The days of the US kowtowing to a small, disproportionately powerful lobby are OVER.

No. It's not shameful and shocking: It's a clear, punishable w.a.r. .c.r.i.m.e. .per definition by the Geneva Convention. Period.

It's disgusting that Israel used these kid-killer weapons as a last-minute terror attack against the Lebonese, and failed -- for three years -- to correct their evil act. Three hundred innocent people's blood is on the hands of the Israeli state.

the only conclusion that can be drawn Woody is that the israelis did not disclose the whereabouts of these cluster bombs because they wanted them to keep on killing and maiming Lebanese citizens . . .

At the very least, they were indifferent to the reasonably foreseeable fact that they would continue to maim and kill innocent civilians, including children. That is no different from specifically targeting them, in my opinion.

As much as I support Israel. Cluster bombs are not a good weapon to use on anybody by anybody. NATO used them and the US still uses them. Well its not just Cluster bombs that are not a good weapon it is any weapon.

"Not a good weapon?" Each cluster bomb that Israel dropped on Lebanon has a higher civilian casualty ratio than any rocket launched from Gaza by far -- and the cluster bombs are /still/ killing civilians to this day! -- and the best criticism you can muster is it's "not a good weapon."

Even when I am on your side you still criticize me. What does that say about your character? Take a chill pill and relax. Nobody's out to get you.
