Lingerie Football League Tryouts (PHOTOS)

Aspiring Lingerie Football League (LFL) players participated in an open tryout session on Thursday to join the New York Majesty team.

The LFL has ten teams nationwide and will start its new season in September. About two dozen young women participated.

I doubt it. This is only for pervs... Remember the football league by Ed Macman [sp] with all its violence? The rationale for that football league was that people really want to see what goes on in football, so they put all this filth to go along with the game. 3 weeks later, the whole thing went down. At the end of the day, people just want to see real sports, they do not care about all the distraction that comes with it if it is made part of the sport. So, I say, LFL will enravel... Mark my word!!

Fifty years ago, when I was a kid, my dad had the job of doing physical exams for the local high school, determining if the kids were sufficiently fit for all the exercise they were committing to do. He did this for both the football team and for the cheerleader squad (what a great gig!). I remember very clearly his observation that the girls were in much better condition than the football boys, who tended to be pretty fat and flabby. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
