Lingerie Football League Tryouts (PHOTOS)

Aspiring Lingerie Football League (LFL) players participated in an open tryout session on Thursday to join the New York Majesty team.

The LFL has ten teams nationwide and will start its new season in September. About two dozen young women participated.

So the big, well trained profession­al athletes that play in the NFL are required to wear protective gear to avoid injury, but their sending these women out in their underwear?

I doubt it. This is only for pervs... Remember the football league by Ed Macman [sp] with all its violence? The rationale for that football league was that people really want to see what goes on in football, so they put all this filth to go along with the game. 3 weeks later, the whole thing went down. At the end of the day, people just want to see real sports, they do not care about all the distractio­n that comes with it if it is made part of the sport. So, I say, LFL will enravel... Mark my word!!

Fifty years ago, when I was a kid, my dad had the job of doing physical exams for the local high school, determinin­g if the kids were sufficient­ly fit for all the exercise they were committing to do. He did this for both the football team and for the cheerleade­r squad (what a great gig!). I remember very clearly his observatio­n that the girls were in much better condition than the football boys, who tended to be pretty fat and flabby. Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.

So, the essence of a woman is her mystery? Heard that one before. Maybe it is true, don’t know. But if that is true then women need to learn that a mystery must be solved, and if it can’t it just becomes a frustratio­n.
