Lingerie Football League Tryouts (PHOTOS)

Aspiring Lingerie Football League (LFL) players participated in an open tryout session on Thursday to join the New York Majesty team.

The LFL has ten teams nationwide and will start its new season in September. About two dozen young women participated.

my man (handsome, manly, amazing) actually doesn't watch football and has never been to a strip club ever--he finds them degrading.... to women but mostly to himself, and all men. i think that's the thing some strip-club guys don't "get" -- how limiting it is to you all.

all those ladies look like they are in good enough shape to beat me on the field. I guess what I am trying to say is to each his/her own. I guess if that is what they want to do then so be it. As for the guys that will watch and support the sport just so they can see women in skimpy gear need to check themselves in.

Look.. nobody's holding a gun to the head of those women. They're there voluntarily. And any guy that sees them and is attracted to them isn't hurting anyone either. Why no men on this league? It doesn't say "Women's Lingerie Football League", just "Lingerie Football League" so I am a bit skeptical about the motivations of the organizers. Men are being discriminated against when it comes to job availability where you can work in your lingerie, and I have had just about enough of the disparity in opportunity! I know so many women who make a good living at the local strip club but only a few men who have been able to break into the body exploitation industry. It's so unfair!
