Lingerie Football League Tryouts (PHOTOS)

Aspiring Lingerie Football League (LFL) players participated in an open tryout session on Thursday to join the New York Majesty team.

The LFL has ten teams nationwide and will start its new season in September. About two dozen young women participated.

No, seriously it is. America's version of football on a global scale is a fringe sport and little more.

The credibility of American sports also isn't helped by NFL, MLB, and NBA title winners comically referring to themselves as "world champions".

yeah.. i mean why isn't anyone doing anything to free these poor women who clearly are participating under force. Look at all the guys with guns in the background, making sure those women look like they're not ashamed of their bodies and are there voluntarily or something crazy like that.

The two blondes look used up, but quite a few of the young women trying out look athletic. It's a shame that they're not getting the opportunity to play a real sport rather than participating in a peep show.

I hope it's on a Cable Channel where the Mature Male, aged 18-72 demographic that is expected to view it can have the same opportunity to see T&A as the Auto Racing fans have to see Crashes.

i think its crazy from the standpoint of safety. the deep sand in beach volleyball gives a lot of protection and its not a contact sport. these folks will be playing a hard contact sport like football on astroturf in bikinis??? i have never seen this game, but i cant imagine their skin not being scraped raw! eww!
however, being an internet marketer, it does give me an idea......
