The inside headline - "Hollywood Courts Somali Pirate; Samuel L. Jackson To Play Controversial Negotiator".

On reading the story it is apparent that the reality is the complete opposite of the headline.

1. HP has just l1beled the man doing the negotiating with the Somali pirates.

2. Further, they appear to be unable to distinguish between a Kenyan and a Somali. For the purposes of a catchy headline?

HP - making the National Inquirer look like a reputable news organ. And misinforming liberals / progressives while they do it. No change there, then.

Can we stop freaking glamorizing violence and world conflicts. It's not a joke or a game. It's REAL life, and the movie, like all others based on true stories, will have NOTHING to do with what really happened. Just look at the psychopath GeorgeP922 "I can't wait to see Sam give the sniper order!" . This kind of mentality is everywhere, our society simply revels in violence, not real violence though, just pretend like the movie. We don't like real torture either, just when it's done to people on 24, or in the Saw/Hostel series. Show people real pictures of torture and they puke their guts out, repulsed. Tell them their government did it though to protect them and it's patriotic.

This stuff sickens me, as it should everyone else. And to all the people like GeorgeP922, join the military and find out what it's like when your ducking for cover wondering when the next bullet (or nowadays IED) cuts ya down or cripples you the rest of your life.

I wrote a whole thing addressing violence, but why should I , you are rambling.

I am in support of a successful US Military mission.

Am I not supposed to be proud that America along with France decided NOT to negotiate with terrorists or thugs?

Am I supposed to get a box of kleenex the next time the police shoot an armed robber that has taken a bank hostage?

Let me close by quoting Samuel L Jackson from that one movie:
"Yes they deserved to Die!, and I hope they burn in hell!"
