Tucker Carlson, Dana Perino Join Fox News As Contributors

Tucker Carlson and Dana Perino have joined Fox News as contributors, the Huffington Post has learned.

Carlson hosted the 6PM hour on MSNBC until March 2008, when his show, "Tucker," was canceled. Since then, he served as a senior campaign correspondent for MSNBC and has written for The Daily Beast.

Perino served as White House Press Secretary from September 2007 through the end of George W. Bush's second term. Last month, it was announced she'd be joining Mark Penn's public relations firm, Burson-Marsteller, as "chief issues counselor."

Contributing what? Their personal opinions? That's the problem with cable media, they think people can't think for themselves or read real news and know the truth. Let's see... Fox (fair and balanced) has added two more conservatives to it's roster of faux journalists.
First we have Tucker, an amiable, preppy-type whose content to whine and smirk his way through a 1/2 hour of programming, making historical references that are completely false. Some have questioned Tucker's judgement in working for Roger Ailes, but he has a large family, bills to pay and has been out of a TV gig for some time.
Then there's Dana, an intellectual lightweight who brings just slighty more political insight to the bloated roster of "bubble headed blonds" that dominate the airtime at Fox. She did a decent jobt shamelessly lying for the Bush administration and certainly those skills will come in handy at Fox
What is amazing is that Fox continues to be very successful with the same old diatribe against Democrats, academia, secularists, scientists and the federal government. Sadly, it's still true that devout viewers of Fox News programming are the least likely to have even a basic understanding of national and international events.

FOX does not have to go far to hire staff. They have to just turn to their cousin, CNN. John King should be offered a job at FOX since he is already doing their dirty work on the Crappy News Network (CNN).
