I'm gaining greater respect for Huffington every day. The stories you post and comment on are also found in conservative blogs and on talk-radio shows. There's a synergy at work here regarding Obama's administration that I find encouraging.

What surprises me, though, is that so many people who voted for and support Obama haven't connected the dots. They see the bits and pieces. But they don't see the whole picture.

Obama's administration is rife with hypocrisy like that found in this Steve Rattner story. Anyone with eyes and ears -- and who isn't blindly supporting Obama no matter what -- has to be devastated by the lies, hypocrisies, and failures. G.W. Bush trashed the Constitution and restricted individual liberty. Yet, Obama continues the tradition. He hasn't brought change to Washington! Change would have been to repeal the Patriot Act the second he slid his butt into the leather chair in the Oval Office. He hasn't. In fact, he has supported Bush's politics -- the Executive Orders, the overseas operations, and the spend-like-drunken-sailors-in-a-whorehouse economic policies -- most hated by the Left -- nearly 100% of the time.

I applaud Huffington for continually pointing out the truth in Washington -- even when it's likely to be offensive to those who classify themselves as liberals.
