So, people actually watch this show? I had no idea.
All these ex-models seem to whine and complain. First it was Janice Dickerson, now Paulina. At least Twiggy was successful and classy enough to not complain vocally about being on the show.
I think it reflects poorly on any former "supermodel" if they have to cry to the media about being let go as a "judge" on a show like AMTM. Doesn't she have a life and career outside of being a judge on Tyra's show?
The only reason that I have respect for a Supermodel who judges on this show, is because the exposure helps their career and keeps their name out there. They shouldn't have to look at it as just needing a paycheck, which is what Paulina appears to be concerned with here.
Paulina, take your name and your reputation and do something with it. Stop complaining about not being an employee of another former model who actually made it.
Tyra is a B!! Plain and simple! See her with any man? NO! Why? Because no one can and will put up with her immature tantrums!! She really needs to get a grip and grow up!

He/she didn't associate being in a couple with 'worth', but with a measure of selfishness vs ability to share and get along, which is completely different. Maybe it is you who associate it with 'worth'.
I would say that as a model Paulina was more successful. Back in the 80s she was face of Estee Lauder and was on all the fashion magazine covers. Tyra was successful, too, but she was more of a pin-up girl. Maybe Tyra was a little jealous of Paulina? Whatever the case, I take Tyra's side. The woman's a hoot and I love watching her on "Top Model". I also give her credit for carving out a niche for herself upon the conclusion of her modeling career.

I've met Tyra unfortunately a few times and she is not someone I would put in my top ten list of nicest or egoless people I've met. That said, Paulina get over yourself, you were an employee and the show made a business decision. Paulina's involvement was not going improve or hurt ratings either way.
I'd heard Tyra's custard pie is sweet and nice. I wonder if she'd save me a slice.
Having recently viewed TB's daily show, I can say that it was a complete waste of my time.TB's ego is too massive to be contained within the parameters of "talk" tv. To remind viewers of why she became famous, she shows modeling shots of herself before & after each commercial break. I did not hear her say anything that could be construed as "intelligent", though I'm sure she has plenty of fans.
Have never seen the other show, but I remember that PP was a lovely looking young woman back in the '80s.
More time for Paulina to spend with her husband, who in my opinion wins the title of "Creepiest Looking Man Ever"

Having heard both parties talk about this issue, I'm inclined to vote Tyra off the island.
20 minutes tardy to work is a rare, but forgivable event.
Consistently 3+ hours tardy is poor planning, poor time management & unforgivably rude behavior.
In these 'tough economic times' that prompted releasing Paulina, perhaps if they weren't having to pay up to 6hrs a day in unnecessary overtime wages because of Tyra's poor time management, they could still afford this talented woman.
Shame on you tyra. There aren't enough publicists in California to spin this into a win for you.

I like Paulina especially since I know she' s part of the Colbert Nation. I think she's way too good for Top Model and it is their loss.
