Gingrich is OBSCENE.

How can we get him to crawl back under the rock where he was hiding for the past eight years?

They have NO new people. Young people in America are better educated and, because of the internet, are able to fact find easily. They simply are not as gullible as their parents might have been. These people are not interested in the ravings of old men. They are interested in seeing America move ahead in technolgy. They understand the importance of education and the need for quality health care. They are not as easily convinced that organized religion is mandatory. That is why the gop as we know it today will fizzle out and be gone soon.

"But a lot of people have passions and the beauty of the Republican Party is you get to express those passions in various ways." --M. Steele

Like homoerotic torture, pedo-philia, torture kiddie porn, obstruction of government, and tax cuts to the top 1%...

On December 1, 2005, Yoo appeared in a debate in Chicago with University of Notre Dame professor Doug Cassel. During the debate Cassel asked Yoo, "If the president deems that he's got to torture somebody, including by crushing the testicles of the person's child, there is no law that can stop him?", to which Yoo replied "No treaty." Cassel followed up with "Also no law by Congress -- that is what you wrote in the August 2002 memo...", to which Yoo replied "I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that." -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Yoo

Don't forget about the fact that McCheney is a "BIG MEMBER" of the re=Thuglic party. Well - according to Steele anyway - and he should know!

OMG! Rebranding? I thought we had gotten rid of this cry baby. What's his NEW idea, Contract on America???? Yuck!
03:26 PM on 05/19/2009
Funny how the trolls are silent on this one. Usually means one thing, the rest of us are right and they don't have much of an argument against us.
03:19 PM on 05/19/2009
I give up...will this be a "listening tour" or a "teaching tour"? If the latter, who will be doing the teaching...and to whom? Repeating the past and hoping for new results...isn't that already defined as insantity???

Congratulations to the GOP, the old white guy image is now firmly re-established!

Notice how they keep coming up with all these grand plans, but nothing actually happens? When does the hip-hop start? What are the stops on the listening/teaching tour? As usual all talk--no action. What a bunch of f00ls.

Sarah Palin ... fell flat!

Michael Steele, the black face who can attract black voters ... fell flat!

Bobby Jindal, the brown face who can attract brown voters ... fell flat!

Tea parties ... fell flat!

Town hall meetings ... fell flat!

So now, they're starting at the beginning. The only problem is that instead of going forward, they're going back to 1996 and Newt Gingrich. In other words, it's the same old party of the same old white men with the same old ideas.

Ah yes, a fresh new white crabby old guy face.
03:35 PM on 05/19/2009
Not just a "crabby old guy" but the same one who led the GOP fall into disgrace with his slash and burn tactics and corruption in the House. this guy is truly the last hurrah for white, fearful, Southern and midwest men, and rellgious whackos.
I am a registered Republican who voted for Obama because I am sick of the "social issues" and Jesus freaks that think they have the last word on morality.....this Ginrich guy should just stay out of government and stick to the talking head media outlets to give his perverted views of what America stands for....the present GOP doesn't stand for anything this Republican believes...I am not right wing...I am not a leftist loonie.....until some party emerges that encompasses the moderate middle in America, we are in trouble...Obama is proving to not be the answer, either....our congressional leadership and opposition is weaker than any time in my lifetime, except when Ginrich was running the House.....this is not a good time in America.....

Newt You are In Our Mind Always! Contract With America!
03:37 PM on 05/19/2009
many opf the points in the Contract with America were passed and implemented because they were good....the line item veto for one....but the courts, under the Dems, voted it down....term limits are also a good idea with modifications....
04:38 PM on 05/19/2009
And yet look at what the Republicans have done to America! ....You are the only one that thinks that the Contract ON America was good.

Term limnits? If only! Some of these old repubs. will NOT stay off TV, or fade into the background. Newt was ousted for ETHICS violations, fined over $300,000.00 Has everyone forgotten this? He also shut down the govt. because he was seated in the back of Air Force One! Do these people honestly wonder why they are constantly losing?Newt should do what he does best, shop around for wife #4., although he is looking worse for wear these days. He reminds me of Jonathan Winters character Maudie!
