The Hill:
Sen. Edward Kennedy's brain cancer is in remission and the Massachusetts Democrat is expected back in the Senate after the Memorial Day recess, according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

As we now all know, Reid, not for the first time, had no idea what he was talking about. This is, keep in mind, the same sparkling intellect who confidently asserted that America has a "voluntary" tax system, and when confronted on the absurdity of his words only dug the hole deeper.
Reid and Pelosi thrived on being the sniping, demonizing, demagoguing witchhunters of the Bush era.Pelosi in her lust for Bush-bashing couldn't resist more delicious post-mortem abuse by proclaiming to the world that the CIA lied to her. Thankfully, even the Democrat Leon Panneta knew when to say "enough".
In Pelosi's fantasy world, everybody who worked for the CIA from 2001-2009 was a Republican operative, and she the White Knight standing up to them. (At least, this is how she played it in her PR material to backers. She got so used to singing that song, her vocal chords are stuck in auto-repeat, even when singing it is patent nonsense - most significantly, to her own Democratic colleagues, including a White House that gave Panetta the green light to refute Pelosi's latest clumsy, doltish rendition.
Obama-worshippers, choose your sides: Obama or Pelosi? Your eyesight may not be subtle enough yet to perceive the fractures but there's a fault-line there promising to eventually outdo San Andreas.
As for Reid, he's likely to just trip one day right into the middle of it and end up broken and smashed at the bottom of the gorge.
Sooo glad to hear this news! Blessings and prayers still being sent your way Senator Kennedy.
Lost my mom last year to this terrible disease. I think TK has the same grade-4 glioblastoma. Unforntualtely, unless he is one of the luckly few, the disease sends out "fingers" that grow again making full remission unlikely. I hope TK beats the odds unlike my mom.
Stay well Teddy! We need you.
Still crazy for him after all these years. In 1976 Sen. Kennedy talked to me, then a features editor for the Journal of the American Hospital Association, about his plan for National Health Insurance. The other plans' sponsors had an assistant respond (if I was lucky) or merely sent a fact sheet.
Ted Kennedy was passionate about universal health care in the mid-seventies, probably earlier. I hope for all our sakes he gets to see it happen.
This is great news! All the best to Sen. Kennedy. Continued good health.
Excellent!
Glad to hear he is doing well and will be back in harness.
Congrats, Sen. Kennedy, from South Carolina!
That guy has more lives than a cat.
Survived a plane wreck, a car wreck, another plane being struck by lightning, and now brain cancer.
The dude is charmed.
Fight on, Ted! Fight on!
